His influences are Jhonen Vasquez, M.C. Escher, Leonardo da Vinci, Bill Watterson (creator of Calvin and Hobbes), Cartoon Network shows such as The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, and Nickelodeon's Spongebob. David's works include: Deerheaded Businessman, Explosions Across the River, The Ambush, and Aries in the Forest. According to David "well, it would be nice to sell my art locally...in the long run though, perhaps work for an animation studio or do some advertising work." "I remember watching Disney movies as a kid and thinking, 'I want to do that.' Even though I didn't really know what animation was. I've always had an interest in drawing, and being a quiet, awkward young man, it was the perfect escape." Shariyka Romero
